You’re right about one thing, my opinion doesn’t matter. Else that white-haired fool would have been shot dead already. However, your opinion means even less, as mine has at least to this point been correct.
McCarthy is a very mediocre coach. He’s a true quarterback guru, but not much in the leadership and discipline department. He could probably win games if he had better players, just as the slightly-more-inept Childress has been, but according to his own words, your “very talented group” can’t seem to grasp a concept as basic as pad level, which we all learned in HIGH SCHOOL (except Pervy of course, he’s never played a down at any level).
Now of course, we all know (except for you AND Pervy, of course) that a good GM will preside over a successful team. Ted has yet to do that. His teams have been one and done, at best, for all but one of his entire eleven years in the league. That’s not a “helluva” (who says that? are you 15??) job by any stretch. That’s an utterly pathetic job. Little bit different.
McCarthy is not on the hot seat because of anything he’s done. In fact, like Rodgers, McCarthy deserves a lot of credit for doing as well as he has, given the joke of a team he’s had to work with. The only reason he’s on the hot seat is because Ted is planning to make his a scapegoat for his own ineptitude. Then it’ll be several years of true Ted failure with a new coach.
I really don’t know why you bother trying to claim to be a Packer fan. You obviously hate the team a lot, you always want to see them fail so badly. It sounds like some sort of split personality disorder. Get some help. Or at least a reality check.
Ted is the worst GM currently in the league. Nothing you can say will ever change that.
The sooner you accept the truth, the better things will be for you.

Ted doesnt drop passes, miss field goals, commit penalties etc. Obviously this team is talented. In fact a NFL GM is on the road during the season more then he is at his office. If you really NEED to blame someone for the mediocre start you blame McCarthy. ted assembled a very talented group as stated by dozens of people in the NFL media circles that are in the know. Also stated by your buddy Favre in his conference call yesterday. You don’t like Ted. That’s fine. But your opinion doesnt matter because you are not in the know. You are a nobody like the rest of us. I’ll take the opinions of the experts as my interpretation of the Job Thompson has done. According to them, he’s done a helluva job. McCarthy? His tooshie might be getting a bit waarm on the other hand.

Of course they’ll cry and make excuses, but quite frankly, with this amount of injuries I don’t know of a fan base that wouldn’t. It’s actually gotten to a point where it’s stunning to see so many this early in the season.

Since you’re comparing last year to this…
What’s the same:
- O-line still sucks
- Special Teams still sucks
- D-backfield is still uneven
- Defense still pads stats against patsies (i.e.Bills)
- Defense still can be exposed by good veteran
QB (i.e. D McNabb)
- Too many penalties
- Inability to win close games
What’s different:
- Much harder schedule
- # of injuries that has already gone beyond
ridiculous
- Now no running game
- Defense now being exposed by mediocre QBs
(i.e. S Hill, C Henne)
Rodgers is a very good young QB (although sando’s comparison to Culpepper is more accurate than you might think) and a good WR corp (although Jones & Nelson are a little over-rated @ this point) and some defensive players are impressive, but overcoming the issues listed above will make it difficult for your prediction to come true. Good luck with that!
Now the Vikings? Who knows? Let’s just chalk it up to the Viking curse – it’s always something.

Yes, we all know the Packers season is over now. This as opposed to the Vikings season, which was over before it began.
It isn’t all bad. At least we get an all-new front office and coaching staff next year. No idea who the new GM will be, though reports state it won’t be Millen, so whoever it is will be a HUGE improvement over Ted.
You guys may very well beat us next week, but neither team will see the postseason. Not that you care about such things anyway.

The Green Bay Packers are the most overrated team in all of sports.Routinely getting the preseason championship nod and revered by a fat mouth fan base that do not understand football. Aaron”the skipping douche” “championship belt” Rodgers is called a great qb only by the losers left at the alter in WI by Lord Favre.
Skippy Rodgers is 7-13 in games decided by 7 points or less. In the Big games,tight within 4 points he is a big fat crummy 1-11. He will never be a contender,he is a stat whore pretender.He will forever live in the shadow of Favre and curse the cheese stuffing douchers of Green Bay into endless seasons of mediocracy…..

Oh cusoman please – give us a break. Of course the Packer fans booed that call; it was completely bogus and the flag wasn’t thrown until sixty seconds after the play was over. A three point win at home against a one-win outfit. That sent tremors through the entire league. The Vikes without a doubt have the most (healthy) talent in the division, but they’ll find some way to implode sooner or later; that’s the safest bet on the planet. I saw Peterson pretending his foot was hurt near the end of his mediocre day; obviously he’s learning things from Favre.
