What’s the use of having a high draft pick when AJ Smith will just blow the pick anyways? Look at our last 3 drafts…..PATHETIC! !!! We draft Larry friggin English when we could’ve had any of the following guys: Percy Harvin, Clay Matthews, Michael Oher, Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks, Louis Delmas, Patrick Chung, James Laurinatis.

’08 Draft we got Cason. He’s playing pretty well right now. ’09 English gasn’t had a chance yet because of injury and other factors, look for him to be a force with Merriman not taking up space on the defence now. Would have perferred Maualuga or Matthews though. ’07 We got Buster… Can’t argue there although he does seem to be stepping up a bit this season, though not worth a 1st rounder & It’s far too early to judge this years draft class. Mathews looks good when he runs, we’re just behind so often that he doesn’t get a chance. Plus A.J. is brilliant at finding gems in the late rounds and picking up undrafted players who can contribute.
We need to promote Ajirotutu from the practice squad.

joetoronto: 32,218 fans for a home Raiders game!?! Sounds like they’ve got Chargers fans beat in the circling of drains category. I won’t even mention the Raiders current streak of seven straight sesaons w. at least eleven losses, an NFL record. Oops, guess I did.
btw: the Raiders are now one third of the way to extending their NFL record to eight consecutive seasons with at least eleven losses. Kudos to the Raiders.

Yeah, it’s definitely Norv’s fault that Gates hurt his ankle, Jackson held out without being traded, LT got run out of town, and Merriman turned out to be nothing more than a juicer.
Too bad you aren’t in charge of the Chargers. You could fix all those problems I bet.

Without Gates and Floyd we will lose to the Cheatriots by 35 instead of only losing by 10! At this point I hope we finish 2-14 to get a better draft pick and get that worthless coach Norv and special teams coach Crosby FIRED!!!!! Until that happens all that talent will go to waste and we will under achieve every year!
