The appearances are aimed at reporting her new book. But how could the hosts of the respective shows not at least ask about the situation?

I just love how people come to conclusions based on how someone behaves. The public has been betrayed many a time by the demeanor of another.
It always makes me think of the times a reporter is interviewing a neighbor of a murder victim. The guy’s demeanor comes across as shock, concern, fear or sadness; only to find out later he did it.
