Fisher: “Pretty good chance” Vince Young plays this week

Despite an ugly-looking knee injury on Monday night, it appears Titans quarterback Vince Young avoided major damage.

Coach Jeff Fisher told Philadelphia reporters on Wednesday there was a “pretty good chance” Young could play this week. The Titans are expected to have a light “walk-through” type practice on Wednesday because of their short week.

"[Young] has a good feel for what we are doing. It is not unrealistic if he misses a couple of days of practice that he still can play,” Fisher said via Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean.

Of course, it behooves Fisher to leave as much doubt as possible so the Eagles have to prepare for both Young and Kerry Collins.

No matter who is at quarterback, the Titans want to regain homefield advantage after two straight losses at LP Field. Tennessee is 3-0 on the road.
