I REFUSE to listen to anything he says. I mute ESPN when he speaks…along with Skip Bayless and a few others.
ESPN is often WRONG and their analysts are the WORST in the business.

What the NFL needs to do is eject players out of the game when they are trying to intentionally injure a player. The helmet to helmet hit by Harrison was not intended to injure a player.
But when he hit that receiver in the head with his massive forearms and helmet that was intentional and extremely dangerous, he should have been thrown out of the game for that. Harrison is a dirty player who has made it clear he’s trying to head-hunt.
While I think game suspensions will get the ears of the players, in-game ejections will get to them loud and clear. The NFL needs to do that. Player safety is always important and with the medical world putting a magnifying glass on the concussions that the NFL needs to clean it up before Congress gets involved and they’ve shown before that they will in sports situations, hell they even said they get involved in the labor dispute.

It’s scary how many people think that playing in the NFL automatically makes your opinion worth more than someone who didn’t. Is an Army private’s opinion on military tactics more valuable than that of a military historian? Hell no. Just because you played the game doesn’t mean you’re the best choice to broadcast it, run it, or administrate punishment in it.

The hit on Massaquoi, I don’t have a problem with, for Massaquoi changed his pad level when Harrison came to make the tackle. The hit he made on Cribbs was clearly intentional as that his intentions were to blow him up with the use of his helmet because his arms were behind his waste as if he was to launch himself instead of out in front of him in an atempt to make the tackle.

Don’t tell me that the NFL is worried about safety…
Isn’t this the same league that is trying to extend the regular season an additional two games? You want to talk about life-long problems….let these guys get their heads bashed in, play on bad knees, take more cortizone shots, and play with hidden concussions for an EXTRA 120 minutes a season. Sounds like a great idea NFL.
