Southcoastmass: Don't know what the final stats were, but I know the Eagles converted like 7 of 10 third downs in the first half, and didn't have that bad of a third quarter either.
The Eagles game plan definitely looked to be built around the short passing game to help neutralize the Titans pass rush. And they were killing the Titans with screens and other short throws for much of the game, at least in terms of keeping the chains moving and holding onto the ball a lot longer.
I couldn't care less what the Eagles do at QB but even if Kolb was struggling with accuracy on some deep throws on a pretty windy day, I'm convinced if they don't turn the ball over (not Kolb's fault) inside the Titans' 5 with a 19-7 lead already, he walks out of there with the win.

It's definitely Ron Mexico time in Philly.
Kolb stinks. Every time he has 3rd and long, he throws a hopeless 5 yard pass. I saw him today where it was 3rd and 5, he threw a 4 yard pass.
Today Kolb averaged 4.8 yards per attempt. Can he maybe try to throw the frigging ball farther than 15 feet?
