The real story here isn’t Chilly calling out Favre it’s Packers fans booing Favre.
For EVERYTHING Favre did for the Packers, and putting them back on the map of relevance, I cannot believe Packers fans booed him off the field last night.
Favre was your team, your franchise, your city and your state! He was the ONLY reason why you were any good in the 90′s and 00′s. THE ONLY REASON! No one remembers who any of the other guys were because they didn’t matter. A bunch of no names and Brett Favre. And that’s how you fans pay him back! How pathetic.

Any Viking fan who keeps talking about the refs are just plain blind to why they really lost. I was watching the game with my band mate, who happens to be a Vikings fan, and in the first half of the game I turned to him and asked, when AP was out for an uncommonly long time, “Why would Chilly not be playing AP right now? I haven’t seen Pickett in there for a few plays, so obviously his ankle is bothering him again.” He just shook his head in disbelief. If a team is down to it’s last three D-linemen, plus Chilly should of known about Jenkins straining his calf and wouldn’t be playing, our best lineman, and you have arguably the best running back in the league, football 101 states you would run the ball and attack, hit them hard. There’s no way they would have any gas left by the end of the game. Put the blame on where it needs to be, your coach.

Got to give Favre some credit for being a very smart fellow and always has his diva brain in gear. Some people are questioning his faking of injuries lately. Just connect the dots it’s not that difficult. He knows his is in big trouble with his wife and the NFL with the texting issue. No way is that diva going to ALLOW the commish to end his consecutive games played record. He did screw up with the elbow tendonitis excuse because he couldn’t continue to gunsling the ball down the field with velocity if he has a bad elbow. That just wouldn’t fly. So he comes up with the cortisone shot and all is well with the elbow. Now he has come up with the ankle so if the commish is coming down on him he will sit because of his ankle. Good old Brett, always looking out for #4 first and foremost.

Even as a long time vikings fan, I have enjoyed many of the games Favre played in. He was one of the best in his time. I liked the way he was able to handle the ball and the defenses. It has now come time to put reality in check. No offense Brett. It is time for him to accept the fact that it is over. That would mean putting Taylor in. OK he has not shown us very much either. HERE IS MY POINT. About the only things we are going to win this year as it stands is probably most beat up QB & the most screw ups. Starting with Chilly Willy being the most incompetant coach in all of football.
I say we go ahead and put Taylor in. Let him get out there and get some hands on education about the game. Only one of two things can happen. He can become a better player or he will prove to be unworthy of the job and title of starting QB. If the latter becomes the case “HOPEFULLY” Someone with a little more game savvy Than Chilly will make the decission to dump him too. Either way it is time for Chilly Willy to be moved on.
Like I have already said this is not a winning season for us. Lets at least use our heads and make what ever we can out of it.

Just as I predicted. Brett Favre will slink quietly away and be put on PUP or IR and Tarvaris will take over this weekend against New England. Tarvaris may not be as flashy as Favre, but at least he won’t throw an average of two interceptions per game (or more).

I can’t stand Brent either, but maybe Chilly needs to look himself in the mirror.
I mean, did we really think the ending was going to turn out any differently? Brent has turned into BrINT and has made a living recently costing his team games with stupid decisions and bad throws.
People want to give the guy a free pass but he’s killing them right now.
Why Minnesota chose to abandon the run at the end is beyond me. That’s on the coaching staff folks. The Packers could not stop Peterson and MN played right into GB’s hands by chucking the ball all over the place. Unfortunately, Favre threw almost as many completions to the Packers as he did to the Vikings.
Enjoy the offseason Childress. You and the rest of that team are done.

Yes, Favre is crying…..all the way to the bank.
Childress saying that he was about to pull Favre is also a joke. Childress might ask Brett if he wants to come out, but Childress will not make the call…..Favre will. That man should be coaching Pop Warner somewhere.
But, in Brett’s defense (I hate to defend him), the Vikings had a whole year to recruit / trade for / buy another QB. Instead, they mortgaged their 2010 season on Favre again, begging him to come back and throwing money at him to get him to come back. THEY HAVE NOBODY TO BLAME BUT THEMSELVES, INCLUDING CHILDRESS.
I feel sorry for the fans on Minnesota, but the front office got exactly what they deserve for being so damn inept.
Favre will not be there next year and I’ll bet money that Childress won’t be there either.

Here’s how I see it as a REAL Vikings fan
We thank Favre for his magical run last year and all the plays that came just cuz he was here(The TD to Lewis was the greatest sports moment I have ever witnessed in person and the loudest!) We thank him for coming back and giving it another shot. He is giving it all he’s got…but he’s 41 and it’s showing. It’s obvious that he’s hurting and in turn hurting the team.He almost pulled out another one last night but it didn’t work and it’s not always going to but at least we had a shot..That being said our O-line is in shambles and maybe a more mobile QB would help….AP is a beast and Moss made Culpecker an all pro in 04…TJ can throw deep and Moss keeps plays alive plus Harvin,Shank,and Cam plus when Rice Krispies comes back…Just sayin’. Fire Childo….this man can not coach and has no respect..even Favre called him out and they are friends! Promote Frazier and the team will respond. We have talent and if we focus we can still do damage…Skol Vikings 4 Lyfe

Victory one day at time… The Super Bowl, division title, final records, game at the dome. Who cares, I’m savoring this moment today, and nothing else. While the Viking Trolls come up with excuses, and debate the final outcome, I sit at work knowing that for today, last nights game was perfect. The Packers WON, and that is all that matters.
What a weekend, Bucky pulling out a Thriller in Iowa, and the Pack bringing home the W.
Shhhhhh.. don’t talk anymore, you might just ruin this moment for me. Nevermind that’s not possible. Damn it feels good to be a WISCO fan today!

The Vikes should get back to basics. Run Peterson and sometimes Gerhart on 75-80% of 1st & 2nd downs, and, if it’s a 3rd and 2 or less, run them again. Once the D starts cheating, burn ‘em with Moss, Harvin, or Berrian. Then it won’t matter who’s the QB, or what the state of his ankle, ego, or marriage is.

The whole country saw what a fraud BrInt Farve is. He was fist pumping like he was auditioning for the Jersey Shore the whole game, then “gingerly” grabs the elbow on bad throws. He sure was able to jump around like he had the House of Pain broadcast into those purple ear plugs he was wearing when he threw the non-winning TD by Percy. Then he limps around when things go bad. What a diva.

As much as I LOVED watching this game, any Packer fan/ Packer player/ Players wife…ANYONE, knows Favre could have just as easily thrown a bullet to the endzone for the win. Thats the favre I know…either way. If he threw 3 bad passes to lose it (which he did) or he throws a perfect touchdown pass to win.
Im happy as H3ll the Pack won but with #4 under center you live and die with him. Could gone eitherway.

If he was the franchise, wouldn’t the team trainer be working on his ankle, arm and everything else thia am and the coach saying that he may not be able to go?
I mean he was limping bad at the end of the game but apparently that goes away the next morning????? He must know that his ankle isn’t broken from his med school days.
Funny, I didn’t hear Chilly saying anything about being worried about Favres condition?
