Down goes Romo

On an evening when things had been going well for the Cowboys, the events have taken a sudden turn for the worse.

After the third Giants turnover of the night (a Brandon Jacobs fumble), quarterback Tony Romo took a direct shot from New York linebacker Michael Boley.

Though Romo managed to get rid of the ball, he was driven into the turf, left shoulder first.  He immediately grabbed with his right hand at an area in the vicinity of his left collarbone.

Jon Kitna has replaced Romo.  Yep.  That Jon Kitna.

UPDATE:  Romo already has tried to fight his way back into the game.

Uh, three turnovers by the Giants and Dallas only up by 3 points. Not what I would call particularly “well for the Cowboys.”

Romo was voted one of the most overrated by the players

What could be better? Nothing perhaps than an injury to tony the homo romo. I am elated right now. No QB = this team falling apart, and doing it in great fashion.

Kitna looks good in that star. I think he should wear it for the rest of the year. The cowgirls are abysmal.

Wow, Kitna… KITNA??? What cemetery did they dig him out of. Isn’t he like 200 years old or something lol. Actually he is a decent back-up, a Charley Batch type player that will come in and play well for a few games.

  29. Laxer37 says: Oct 26, 2010 12:22 AM

Dallas was going nowhere with him, no reason to think they won’t continue down the path toward irrelavance.
