Another terrific example of flawed logic from an idiot. It changes the entire game if one of these plays goes differently. Sure, the Vikings get four more points if Shiancoe’s TD is correctly ruled a TD. Does that mean the score at the end of regulation is 28-28? No. It means there’s an entirely different path to the end of the game. Different score, different situations, different play calls, possibly different outcome.
But for you or anyone else to claim to know what WOULD HAVE happened if one play were changed is asinine.
Then again, we’ve come to expect that from you.

Goodness, we are still talking about the NFC Title Game from last year. Need I remind Viking fans, your team turned the ball over not once, not twice, not 3 times, not 4 times but 5 times. Sure the officiating was questionable at best in that game but the officials didn’t turn the ball over 5 times.
I’m sorry but you don’t deserve to win a game like that when you turn it over that many times, unless of course you’re the Giants playing the Cowboys.

If the refs screwed up like this, the game should be a do-over and come out of the official’s budget. Any game the refs screw up can potentionally end a season. DO OVER.
People trying to belittle Brett for interceptions. How about this? Manning threw for 3, Brees threw for 3, Rapistberger fumbled three times.
Oh, I have a something to ask about a two rules. When a QB is in the box and throws the ball into the ground that’s intentional grounding. When a QB spikes the ball to stop the clock -THAT’S INTENTIONAL GROUNDING. What’s the difference? Don’t say clock management. This is an argument for both incidences. The other is that 2 times this Sunday players from the same team had helmet to helmet contact. Where in Goodell’s rules state the helmet to helmet contact needs to be on the opposing teams? Hypocrite. GET RID OF GOODELL. He blows.

As a Viking fan I have to say:
Childress needs to learn to through his red flag if he is uncertain about something. Shame on him for not using it in the 2nd quarter on the Packer so called touchdown.
As for the Percy Harvin td at the end of the game that was taken away…..he was pushed before he made the catch…..should have been PI which would have made it 1st and goal.
As for the refs………you guys are terrible.

Typical Vikqueens, one or 2 calls get missed and they all go whining to the media. The referees handed them both of the games against GreenBay last year. The refs only messed up twice in this game. Last year against The Packers it was a shit show for refereeing, but Green Bay is used to getting games blown against them so they didn’t bitch or complain. Vikes maybe this is just Kharma for your dirty style of play. It’s no surprise why they are such garbage by the fact they can only find decent players by digging in Green Bays trash can.

The NFL doesn’t publicly comment on any conversations, if any actually happen, they have about these matters with teams. So all you fools that are throwing words into Childress’ or Carl Johnson’s mouth are wrong because no one knows what was actually said, if anything was said at all. So how do you know? My bad Super, I forgot I need to clarify every single detail with the simple minded. No, the 14 pts there are not the 2 score victory I referred to. What I meant, and actually said but should have clarified even more for the less intelligent, is that those 2 plays changed the entire game. If the Vikes go into the half up 21-10 or 21-7 as they should have, the whole game is different. Peterson gets about 10 more carries, Favre has no need to throw all over the place and throw picks, Vikes win by 2 scores. Are you catching on yet, or should I start drawing pictures for you, Einstein?

If the queens went up 21-7 at half, the Packers would have come out firing and scored a TD on every position and went for 2 and converted each time, resulting in a lopsided W for the Pack.

What about the two weaKlINGS that were straddling his sides after the TD. They were in a perfect position to signal Childress to challenge. They obviously didn’t do a good enough job of it. I don’t think the coach would have been upset if they’d have called a timeout if it was guaranteed to save them 7 points. So a non-TD became a TD. Get over it already. Both teams are going to lose this week anyway so what’s it really matter?

There are many more Viking homers than Packer homers on this site. Unfortunately, the majority of them don’t know how to decipher a calendar. They don’t realize that we have flipped to 2010. Their team is not near as good as last year. For the record, the Packers are not as good either.
Despite these bad breaks, the Vikings had the LEAD at the half. They had the LEAD when Brett Favre threw the first of his 3 picks. Get that? The LEAD. Instead of blaming the officials, the blame should be on Favre.

Why not? Easy, it’s called ‘home-cooking’. The Packers control the instant replay at Lambeau and the smoking-gun shot of the non-TD-catch wasn’t made available to the Vikings until AFTER the Packers hustled the x-tra point team out and made the PAT. Even NBC didn’t have the shot until after a commercial break just before the following kick-off.
What really needs to happen is that both teams need sufficient time to review plays involving TD’s so they can be given a reasonable chance to challenge controversial plays – especially plays involving TDs. It’s called “Fair play”, and in a league this popular it’s bad sport to have it any other way.

And for the record Pack fans, I am a huge Vikings fans but let me be clear;
I have been highly unimpressed by the 2010 Vikings. Favre is awful, the offensive line has been awful (although they played their best game of the year against Green Bay and held Dallas to zero sacks) Jared Allen has gotten off to a slow start, the secondary seems to be a concern (lots of injuries as well there) And I really think Brad Childress may be one of the worst, if not THE worst head coach in the NFL. The bright spots have been Peterson who is clearly the best RB in football, Harvin is emerging as a star ( just ask Darelle Revis) and Randy Moss seems to be picking up the offense. If this team can stop turning the ball over (that mean you Brett Favre) they are VERY hard to beat. So you see Pack fans, this is an example of how to NOT be a homer. If all you see is the positive in your team and will defend it to the last, that makes you a homer.

I learned a long time ago that
A) You can’t reason or argue with stupid people, they think they are right 100% of the time
And
B) That you can’t argue with a homer, the worst kind of fan in sports.
The fact that these Packers fans are on here making up their own interpretation of the rules when it comes to these 2 calls is hilarious. Ignorant, but entertaining. A ball can indeed touch the ground and should be ruled a catch if the player possesses the ball before it makes contact with the ground. Shiancoe clearly had possession and the refs made the right call on the field calling it a TD. The NFL admitted to Brad Childress that Scott Green screwed up the replay by overturning it since there was inconclusive evidence that it was NOT a TD. Is that easy enough to understand Pack fans ? Or do I need to draw stick figures for you illustrating my point ? All of the Pack fans on here are only strengthening my belief that Green Bay fans are the most classless, football ignorant fans in the NFL. Until I see some actual thought put into some of your posts, I can’t take any of you seriously.
