Garrard, Edwards fully participate in practice for the Jaguars

With Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio again staring termination in the face, the guy who helped Del Rio save his butt three years ago apparently will be back to help save Del Rio’s bacon once again.

Quarterback David Garrard fully participated in practice after suffering a concussion in Week Six.  His backup, Trent Edwards, injured a thumb in the 30-3 loss to the Titans, forcing both quarterbacks to miss Sunday’s 42-20 loss to the Chiefs.  Edwards also returned to practice.

Earlier this week, Del Rio said he expects Garrard to play in Week Eight.

It’s a good thing both men are back.  Quarterback Todd Bouman missed practice with a right finger injury.

The only other name on the Jacksonville injury report for Wednesday was guard Justin Smiley, who fully participated in practice despite a foot injury.

The Jaguars play the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday.

This is going to be so depressing to watch the Jags beat my beloved Cowboys. At least we should get a decent draft pick…..

No, Cowboys will win. Look at what Kitna did for the Lions, and now he’s on a much better team.
Kitna will look like Aikman against our secondary. I hope the Bills stick with Fitz so the Jags can get Luck(y) in the draft.

Finally baseball gets it’s due. A Jags football game might out draw the ALCS in TV ratings, but not a Jags blog post!

The Cowboys will beat the Jags. Dallas will have a huge day on the ground game 200+ yards. The QB situation won’t bother them this week.
