Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman is listed as questionable after sitting out practice this week with a rib injury suffered Monday night against the Giants, which could be a significant problem on a Dallas roster that has just three cornerbacks.
But there’s good news coming out of Dallas, as Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that a team source says Newman is expected to play Sunday against the Jaguars.
Newman, who had to get a painkilling injection to finish the game against the Giants, told coach Wade Phillips on Friday that he’s feeling better.
Newman has started all six games for the Cowboys this season.

It won’t make a difference.
Cowboys-9
Jaguars- 45
Newman = over-rated.
Sheesh, this dude gets beat all the time and then sprains his vagina on every tackle.
But in Failboyland, he’s “a shutdown corner”….lol
What the hell? 3 corners? Sounds like a recipe for success
There is minimal difference between Newman and Scandrick.
You can leave him behind and you won’t miss him. He always fakes an injury when he misses tackles and give up touchdowns. He should have been cut last year. He is no better than Scandrick.

This is only good news for the Jags.
Won’t make a difference whether or not he plays. Demarcus Ware could replace him and it still wouldn’t make a difference.
Newman is playing today?
It’s about time.
