According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Mankins will report to New England tomorrow and sign his one-year tender offer.
By signing tomorrow, Mankins is reporting for duty two weeks earlier than the November 16 deadline when he was expected to report. Mankins is the last of the NFL’s unsigned restricted free agents to show up for work.
Mankins, who had started all 80 games of his five-year career before sitting out the start of this season, will be eligible to play in the Patriots’ final seven regular-season games.
