The Colts continued to get discouraging injury news Monday night, just before their game against the Texans. (Yes, a football game will be played tonight.)
Cornerback Jerraud Powers, who was playing himself into Pro Bowl contention, was declared out because of a foot injury. Another key cornerback Jacob Lacey is out after being listed as questionable with his own foot injury.
Running back Joseph Addai, wide receiver Austin Collie, guard Jacques McClendon, linebacker Kavell
Conner, defensive tackle Antonio Johnson, and safety Bob Sanders. Wideouts Reggie Wayne and Pierre
Garcon are both active, as expected.
Mike Hart will start at running back over Donald Brown, who is active for the first time in a while.
The Texans are much healthier. Inactive for Houston: tight end Dorin Dickerson, third QB Matt Leinart, cornerback Karl Paymah, linebacker Darryl
Sharpton, defensive end Jesse Nading, tight end Garrett Graham, defensive tackle Earl Mitchell, and guard
Kasey Studdard.
