The trade for Cutler was notable but it’s not even close to the long-term pattern of head-scratching decisions made by the vikings.

Spin it any way you want.. The Vikings got what they deserved from both Favre and Moss. And as long as the Vikings are the ones wallowing at the bottom of the division, Lovie’s seat is not as hot as it could be.

From your boyfriend under center, to the brilliant Randy Moss excursion, to Childress’ inability to control his team, to their failure to sell out their stadium in a large metro area without corporate assistance, to their inability to get the funding for a new stadium, to Favre’s boudoir shots, to the pass rush’s fall from grace, etc, etc.
It’s high comedy. Trust me, if the Bears were falling apart like this there would be plenty of Packers fans yukking it up. Maybe not as many, but plenty. And I imagine a fair amount of Vikings “fans” like yourself too.

My oh my what a mess.
Looks pretty bad.
To be honest, I don’t want it to get so bad that the Vikings end up leaving Minnesota. I’m used to playing Minnesota twice a year and that close geographic rivalry is a good thing. It’s been fun over the decades ….. except for the consecutive years that we could never seem to catch up with Fran Tarkenton.
I wonder if Clay M. could have caught Fran Tarkenton. ???
