gregjennings says:
I can't possibly agree with that. They have lots of talent and could still make a run. I wouldn't count them out yet.
==================================
Ha Ha Ha!!! This is why almost everybody else hates on the Vikings and their fans. They troll other teams' pages, spewing vitriolic nonsense, then become the worst franchise in the NFL, yet they have the nerve to say stupid things like, "They have lots of talent and could still make a run. I wouldn't count them out yet"
Are you kidding me? Look at your freaking record, moron! What a joke of a team and joke of a fan base. You're at the bottom and you're gonna stay there - right where you belong.
And no, this isn't some crazy ass conspiracy of the NFL - you're just that bad. Meanwhile the Saints and the Packers are chugging right along, leaving you in the dust of their victories.

Simple_simon1,
You sound like a tight-rope walker on the issues that you brought up. You keep saying that the Bucs haven’t beat anyone but at the same time would you respect the growth of a 3-13 (umm umm hi Cowboys formerly last year Bucs) is they lost those games, much like your Lions. The truth lies in the details. Tampa had no running game prior to Pitt and NO. OC, Olsen, didn’t have the confidence to place Blount on the field but I believe that he is now seeing that Freeman and the entire offense is more productive with an explosive back. I don’t want the Bucs to become everyone’s darling because people will put you on a pedestal and bring you down just as fast as they lifted you. So whether they win or lose to the elites it doesn’t matter to this young team as long as they are getting better and I do see improvement.
I tell you this, the Lions have a WAAY better roster on paper and they have consistently found a way to lose. You have Megatron, Suh, Best, and Bosch etc. The Bucs roster is nowhere near that in relation to star power but that’s where coaching and having a QB with smarts and heart do for a young unproven roster. While everyone continues to laugh at the Bucs, no one will want to see them down the stretch as they mature and the gain more confidence. Unlike your 0-16 Lions, we have a chance to possibly put ourselves in the post season. I will take that, no matter what people like you and Florio (who predicted 3 wins in 2 years) say. Another draft, more defensive help and this young team will be a MAJOR problem for the entire NFC. Raheem deserves more credit for building a competitive team from the rubble. Gruden couldn’t do it and many others can’t and still coach X’s & O’s. He is leading men and inspiring, like Dungy, Tomlin, Belichick, and Ryan. I don’t have a problem with being 17 in the power rankings because last year we were a mess and teams circle us on their schedule. Now people are taking coach Morris words as motivation to get up for the game. Now that is all the respect you need. All they have to do is stay close in the 4th and give the ball to the cool – comeback kid and the rest will be history. Let’s not forget the “elites” in the NFC south have also suffered horrible loses. (NO to CLE, ATL to PHI) Not to mention CLE doing Madden celebrations on NO head for two pick sixes. How about that for contender? The fact is the NFC is wide open and if Tampa wins on Sunday, we won’t be having this discussion.

Have to question Florio's cardio-endurance in trying to rank all 32 teams over a two day timeframe. He seems to have gotten a little winded after the first two or three "zingers" and forgot he was actually trying to rank teams.
Don't you have a trainer, strength coach, therapist, or at least a damn hot tub?

Belichick didn't con the Vikings. Childress did that all by himself.
And if a 2-5 team can be last in your rankings and a 0-7 team 4th to last, you're even worse at this than I thought, and I didn't think that was possible.

Most Minns. back ups would be starters in Buffalo. It also just goes to show how terrible things are in Minnesota, the Bills look like they atleast care.

If by "all" you
mean that it is all
about a team running
eighth in the race
for six playoff
spots, then I guess
it is.
And since I am
dropping numbers on
you, here is another
you might remember,
41-14.
Go Patriots!
I can say something though... don't expect that to happen again...

If by "all" you mean that it is all about a team running eighth in the race for six playoff spots, then I guess it is.
And since I am dropping numbers on you, here is another you might remember, 41-14.

Ummm.. I think if
you check the

the same number of

go to tie breakers,
one of which to me
would be red zone

but you are
right.. the Raiders
will crush Miami in
a few weeks....
Man its amazing what 2 crappy wins do for a teams fans.. I mean I take nothing away from the raiders those were 2 impressive wins but come on.. the broncos and the seahawks... if you played our schedule you guys would likely be 2-5.. I'm not saying you can't beat us but you def.. shouldn't be that cocky.. I hope to see you around these parts in 3 weeks...

As a Raider fan I concur with those that think the #11 spot is too high for the Raiders. I think somewhere around 16-18 would be correct for now, and maybe #11 IF the Raiders beat the Cheifs this week.

lions51:
"Even though the Lions have played much better football this year, losing close games and beating weak teams will not earn you respect. Beating quality teams will, Lions will pull off a win at home against the Jets!"
You're right. This game against the Jets will be tough, but I hope you're right. As for respect, I think people are starting to see the Lions are a decent team with a terribly unfortunate schedule....LOL.... Oh well, next year should be a better schedule and by then the team will be one year older so it works for me. Also, coming into the last week nobody was laughing at the Redskins. They were not thought to be a mediocre team and we beat them. Bad record for us, but we've been in every single game. Like the progression this year.
