Bigby is back for the Packers

As the Green Bay Packers prepare for a Sunday night home game against the disintegrating Dallas Cowboys, the Packers are getting back one of their key defensive players.

The team has announced that safety Atari Bigby has been activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. He fills the roster spot created by the release of defensive lineman Mike Montgomery.

Bigby underwent ankle surgery in August.

Cornerback Al Harris remains on the PUP list as he continues to recovery from a knee injury suffered last season. Both players returned to practice after Week Six, opening a three-week window during which they must be added to the 53-man roster for placed on season-ending injured reserve.
