On Friday, Eagles coach Andy Reid said that receiver DeSean Jackson will play three weeks after suffering a severe concussion, barring a setback.
There have been no setbacks.
Per a league source, Jackson will play today when the Eagles host the Colts at 4:15 p.m. ET.
Jackson will be playing with a new helmet, aimed at better protecting him against concussions. He also could be getting a new contract.
It remains to be seen whether Jackson will return punts on Sunday. Reid said Friday that Jackson has been practicing in that capacity.

The kid who has been returning punts, Joique Bell, has been doing a reasonably good job at it, and Bell will also be returning kickoffs. I can see DJax returning a punt depending on the situation, but he probably won’t in most cases.
Oops… not Joique Bell, it’s Jorrick Calvin.
I’m an Eagles fan, and if the secondary plays like they did 2 weeks ago against Kerry Collins, there won’t be any punts to return against Manning….
Who cares – the Eagles suck.

So says the G-hens fan whose team hasn’t beaten the Eagles since Nov.9 2008 and who’s team gave up 85 points to the Eagles in two games last year…..Way to smart up the place, idiot….
