Jets-Lions inactives

The Jets are among the NFL’s healthiest teams, while the Lions are at one of their healthiest points of the season two weeks removed from a Week Seven bye.

Thus, there are few surprises in either team’s list of inactive players.

The most notable on Detroit’s side is safety C.C. Brown, who will be replaced in the starting lineup by rookie Amari Spievey.

Joining Brown in street clothes: running back Aaron Brown, linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba, tackle Jason Fox, defensive end Willie Young, center Cody Wallace, and defensive end Lawrence Jackson.

Shaun Hill, still dealing with a fractured forearm and unable to perform hand-offs, is the third quarterback. Drew Stanton will be No. 2 on the depth chart.

The Jets’ inactives are running back Joe McKnight, defensive tackle Matt Kroul, defensive tackle Jarron Gilbert, linebacker Jamaal Westerman, tight end Jeff Cumberland, third quarterback Kellen Clemens, guard Vladimir Ducasse, and defensive end Marcus Dixon.

Linebacker David Harris was banged up earlier in the week, but will start.
