Ok, the Ravens are legit. But "slamming" into the Falcons and Bucs? Oh noez!! I'm shaking!!!
The Bucs should hope to stay within 20, and the Falcons celebration of 1 of their 2 wins in the last 4 years will end on MNF, two days after Christmas. #7 Offense, #3 Defense. No flukes next time chumps.

By the way, the Steelers OWN the Saints... 6 rings to 1. Sad statistics. I'm sure you were one of the fans with a bag over their heads routing for the 'Aints.
When you have 6 rings? Then speak yourself, otherwise the rings speak for themselves.

The Raiders may be a little high but they are at the top of offense and defense stats except for passing yards and rushing defense. The rushing defense is getting cleaned up. They rank right up top in everything, sacks passing yards allowed and they are playing like a beast.
They dismantled two teams in back to back weeks and handled the Chiefs, seriously the refs all but handed the chiefs 14 points on two bad calls.
The defense is really good, like it has been for a few years, just better this year. When you start winning TOP and rank 7th or so in the league all that hard work shows up. In the past they've played great only to be gassed in the 4th quarter.

Okay Bucs fans, lets go over the reality here.... You were one yard from getting a 1st and goal inside the 2 and you couldn't get it. You wouldn't have had a TD yet, and even if you did it would have only put you up 1 point with around 2 minutes left and Atlanta with all of their timeouts. That's not the same as a win.
You DID NOT win. You LOST the game. Kudos to you for making it close, but you were dominated all day and if not for some fluky special teams plays it wouldn't have been close.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Are you referring to the special teams play that your guys had an opportunity to recover a fumble, and tackle not one but two ball carriers for no gain? Way to seize the day and give up a big touchdown, don't hate on our talent, special teams are a part of the game for a reason.
See you at the end of the season.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Call your bookies. The Ravens are doomed this Thursday night.
Anytime they've been put in the #1 slot in a power ranking, they've promptly lost their next game.
The Falcons, 17-3 at home since '08, will be a formidable foe for Poe's crows. Battle of the Black Birds in Georgia will be a heck of a way to start off Thursday NFL.

LMFAO!! Are you this clueless? They would have been inside the 1! The play happened from just inside the 1!
Look at the video on the PI call as they should have been starting from 1st and goal from the 5, but the officials blew it and marked it at just outside the 10. The Buc's challenged, but that play is not able to be reviewed.
Fluky special teams plays? really? Well you just established they you'renever ever stepped on football field and must be 16 and new to football huh? The last time I checked there were 3 facets to football, look it up on Wiki? It's called Offense, Defense and Special Teams, it takes all 3 to win.
That's what they taught us when I played at least. It's not the Buc's fault that the Falcon's sucked on ST's. Dominated the Buc's the entire game really? The total yards were 360 for he Falcons and 290 for the Buc's. That's not counting the special teams return yardage, which the Buc's had a 225 - 53 advantage in return yardage, so all in all they hd 515 total yds. to just 413 for the Falcons.

SKOL VIKINGS!
The comment was very true: This could get very interesting.
A win next week and the Vikings are right back in the hunt. A win the next 2 weeks and the Vikings are RIGHT BACK IN THE HUNT!
----------
...and a loss in either week and they're basically eliminated.
Good luck with that.

so the Ravens are the #1 team in the power rankings, but their week 9 game doesn't get a one-liner post? what's up with that PFT?

The Colts fall 9 spots after losing by 2 in Philly with a chance to kick a game winning FG despite missing half their offense and 1/3rd of their Defense. Those "tough games coming up" include a 2-6 Cincy Team and a 1-7 Cowboys team both at home.
Yes they lost by 2 to the Eagles but come on it wouldnt have even been close if not for 4 horrible penalties called against the Eagles and about another 4 blantant penalties that didnt get called against the Colts.
Everytime the Eagles lose they have dropped about 10 places in Florios power rankings and I didnt complain once but it happens 1 time to the Colts and u start crying come on get over yourself.
Eagles would have the best record in the NFC if not for a fluke 2nd half to the Titans but u didnt here me complain about it.

Just so people understand the depth of this site's stupidity consider the following:
The Saints lead the league in third down conversions.
The Saints have the third ranked defense.
The Saints have the top-rated pass defense in a predominantly passing league.
And this is all without their starters on both sides of the ball for weeks and weeks on end.
The unbelievable stupidity of the people who write here never ends. Stupid stupid stupid.
Oh and by the way the Saints OWN the Steelers!

Im a Die Hard Raiders fan but I don't think they should be #9. I think they should be 12 in front of KC. However ppl tend to forget their record could easilly be 6-3 right now and I'm sure that plays into the power rankings but I don't think the raiders are in the same level as the colts as of now. They'll deserve this #9 spot if they beat Pitt after their bye week.

I see everyone has come out to play: the haters of the usual teams: Steelers, Giants, Jets, Raiders....the fan base of the "you don't love us, Boo Hoo" teams ....the Pack, The Bucs, Falcons....
Yup. It's business as usual.
Pull your thongs out of your cracks and smile, people!
Oh, but I will say that hating on the Cowboys at this point is like punching a guy in a wheelchair and walking away. How can you not feel bad afterwards???
