Tom Brady absent from start of practice

It was an unusual day at Patriots practice on Wednesday.

Tom Brady was not present, but running back Fred Taylor was for the first time since Week Three.

It’s uncertain why Brady wasn’t there; he may have just been give the day off for something personal or “rest” or “upper body” or whatever the Patriots vaguely want to say.

Brady met with the media earlier Wednesday, which indicates he’s not at risk of missing Sunday’s game.  (That and Brady didn’t appear to be hurt against the Browns, although Brian Hoyer played some in mop-up time.)

Taylor’s return to practice could be a boost as the team prepares to face the league’s best rush defense.  Safety Patrick Chung also was at practice; he’s missed the last two games.

He’s trying to track down Matt Walsh, things just haven’t been the same since he’s been gone.

Brady went to Sears to get some glamour shots.

Didn’t want the coach to get in trouble for always having him on the injury report even though he always practices and plays.

Maybe he went to get a haircut…….

He was kidnapped after his morning press conference.
Chris Mortensen reports that Brady will not report because he is unhappy with his contract. Updated today.

He’s probably unhappy with his contract. I think that’s what Michael Silver would say.

The Pride Day Parade planning committee had a meeting. Mr. Bundchen simply HAD to attend. Later on he’ll practice his ‘little girl squeal’ for when someone touches him in a football game.

Amazing how a 20-point beatdown at the hands of the Browns is getting swept under the rug it seems.
Colt McCoy and Hillis along with the Browns D (weird) dismantled the Patriots.
That was one of the more lopsided games of the past weekend which revealed serious weaknesses in the Pats and 2 days later Schefter is calling this Pats/Steelers a possible AFC Champ preview without mention of their last result.
Does the Sports Media just pick and choose it’s weeks’ stories out of a f’n hat?

I’m a Pats fan and even I can’t defend all the silly crap that’s going on with him lately off the field. I’m surprised PFT hasn’t reported that little hair shake thing he did at that school. I will say this: Giz has his ‘nads for sure. Makes me sick. I want pre 07 Brady back. :(

Well you have to admit, they strangely haven’t had the same success they did with Walsh around video taping all other 31 teams every day? Kinda curious, just sayin’.

Love the haters! LOL…Team of the Decade queer boys! And there’s nothing you can do to change that! We whooped up on all of your inconsistent b*tch teams for 10 years. Say what you want about signals…teams change them every week, let alone every year…the Pats didn’t invent the practice so teams take measures to hide signals…sorry.
D-Y-N-A-S-T-Y…..must sting so much for you p*ssies

    Negative.
    They just understand football.
2003 – Pats lost one game that year to Buffalo 31-0. Look up who the Champs were that year.
One game does not a season make.

Dynasties lose Superbowls ? Hmmmm i dont think so ….. And that was last decade . Its not 2004 anymore .

  32. bonecity7 says: Nov 10, 2010 6:48 PM

This “Dynasties don’t lose Superbowls” BS has got to be one of the stupidest putdowns of all time!! So, the 49ers were a better team/dynasty for NOT getting back to the Superbowl after winning their last one? The Cowboys were a better team/dynasty for not getting back to the Superbowl for nearly two decades?
Thank God your parents weren’t successful……I’d hate to read what you would write about them!!
