As Florio mentioned on Thursday evening, the news surrounding Browns linebacker Marcus Benard following his collapse on Thursday seems promising.
Browns coach Eric Mangini said Friday that Benard would miss practice Friday while he underwent further testing in an effort to “rule out” anything related to his collapse. Benard is reported to be in good spirits.
Cleveland hasn’t disclosed Benard’s status for Sunday’s game at this point.
