If he’s a mediocre to borderline player, he’ll be benched.

If he’s an integral part of their defense, and hard to replace, Denver will “let the legal process proceed”

I am still amazed at these DUI’s. I can understand when a carpenter gets a DUI. He can’t afford a taxi when he gets too drunk to drive and has no way to get his car back. But these NFLers have plenty of money to pay for a taxi and hire someone to pick up their car.

Additionally, most teams have a “no questions” service that will drive a player and his car home and not reveal to anyone who it was.

So these DUI’s are really, really stupid.

Arrested for DUI? On Friday morning? No wonder the Broncos are shat. I have often thought that, if we knew what pro football players did on their time off, it would be difficult to cheer for them. Drinking & driving on a weeknight, after thursday practice/before friday practice, with the bronco defense unable to stop anyone. Now we know why. That’s just kid’s stuff.

He’s still there at 11:15am, which means he hasn’t called anybody to post bail for him. Probably too embarrassed. Unless…

This brings up a point I hope someone can address; Pat McAfee, punter for the Colts, gets busted for PI. (Swimming in a nasty canal in Braod Ripple, in Indy) and sits out a game. Colts DT Fila Miola, gets busted with a DUI and doesn’t miss a game. Jets Braylon Edwards, no punishment as well, as an example.

Shouldn’t there be more consistancy and shouldn’t the players union be filing some griviances because of the inconsistance?

Why don’t they hire some life coaches as well as strength and conditioning coaches? Seriously, why doesn’t each team have a few people to monitor and mentor players that might be at risk? The counter resets to 00 way to often.
