Percy Harvin returns to practice, listed as questionable

Percy Harvin practiced on at least a limited basis Friday after missing the previous two days with migraines, but coach Brad Childress surprisingly said he would be listed as “doubtful” on the injury report, according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. (UPDATE: Someone changed their mind. The Vikings sent out an “update” saying Harvin would be listed as questionable.)

Missed practice time is nothing new for Harvin. Tom Pelissero of espn1500.com notes that Harvin has missed 31 practices since the start of camp. His production has actually been better in the four weeks he’s been limited in practice than the four weeks he practiced fully.

Chicago’s improved pass defense can’t be sure who is suiting up for Minnesota. Brad Childress called Sidney Rice “questionable” even though he hasn’t been activated off the PUP list as of yet. It seems like Rice has a good chance to play, but he says he’s considering long-term implications as well.

Cornerback Asher Allen and safety Jamarca Sanford will be doubtful, and it looks like Chris Cook will start at cornerback opposite Antoine Winfield in Minnesota’s latest “We better win or we’re screwed” game.

UPDATE II: Bernard Berrian was a late addition to the injury report for a second straight week. He’s questionable with a groin injury.
