Signs point towards Kerry Collins starting against Dolphins

Titans coach Jeff Fisher says Vince Young will be a “gametime decision” on Sunday against the Dolphins, but Fisher spoke louder with the practice time he handed out on Friday.

Kerry Collins took the majority of the first team reps and got some extra practice time in with Randy Moss after the session.

“[Vince] took half the reps [Thursday] and we just backed him down today,” Fisher said.

Young is recovering from an ankle injury, and you get the sense from Fisher that he’s more than happy to start Collins until Young is 100%. Young is officially listed as questionable. The Titans are as healthy as they’ve been all year, with defensive tackle Tony Brown probable. Kenny Britt is out.

Collins is going to need to be at his best against a hungry Dolphins team, that boasts a fired up new starter in Chad Pennington.
