Though reports of tight end Anthony Fasano’s two-year contract extension are emerging now, a league source tells us that the deal was signed on November 5.
As first reported (as best we can tell) by Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, Fasano received a signing bonus of $2.1 million, with base salaries of $1.9 million in 2011 and $3.6 million in 2012.
The deal also includes workout bonuses of $75,000 in 2011 and $75,000 in 2012.
Fasano arrived via trade in 2008 from the Cowboys. He has 25 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns in 2010.
