It is interesting the Pats have only had three defensive consitent starters for each game - Jerod Mayo, Vince Wilfork and rookie Devon McCourty!

The rest of the defense has been changing week to week depending on injuries and who they play!

Try to do that and have a record of 7-2!

PTcraddock is making things up now to justify that the Pats cheated. Bill was fined 250k, the Pats 500k. Much like Denver and the Niners were fined. All three had a draft pick, as a matter of fact the Donkeys had a couple taken away.

Walsh had nothing to turn in that was the Pats who turned their tapes in. You know the ones where they were filming the Chargers Cheerleaders (who could blame them for filming that!), Herm Edwards smiling at the camera and waving, the crowds while they were on the road, etc. Sure there was some benefit there, but seriously you act as if this filming thing is the be all end all of their source of winning. If that were the case they would've won the SB each year from 01-06. Get over folks the Pats are legit. Now after four seasons the Colts-Pats game is in Foxboro and I will be two rows behind the Colts bench giving Forehead crap all night. What fun!

You say the "slide" started in the 2006 AFC championship game? Didn't the Pats win the next time they played in 2007 at Indy? Then, they lost the next one in 2008, again in Indy, by 3 points with the back up QB playing. Last year was the 4th and 2 game...at Indy. Seems to me the Pats have to go to Indy all the time. And Polian STILL complains about something.

ptcrapdock: Taping of pregame walkthroughs never happened. That was an incident called “Liegate” that was retracted by the Boston Herald, who conveniently broke the made-up story during the week before the Super Bowl. The “source” Matt Walsh came forward and said it never happened.

Walsh said it never happened??? hahahahaha
Duuuuuuuude, the Walsh met with the league and turned over video tapes that were quickly destroyed. Senator Spector demanded the tapes and the league made sure they were destroyed before Congress could see the extent of this scam. The NFL flexed their muscles to make this issue go away, but to act like they didn't cheat is hysterical. Bill was fined $1MILLION dead serious and they were ripped of multiple draft picks. GET A CLUE! You don't fine a coach 7 figures and take picks away for something that never happened. THEY CHEATED. FACT!!!

"as wounded as the Colts are..."

the team with more players on IR: Patriots
the team with more starters on IR: Patriots
the team with more player-games lost to injury so far this season: Patriots

The Colts love to whine and make excuses with injuries while the Patriots plug undrafted free agents into the starting lineup and just keep on winning.

Just because the average Joe knows who Dallas Clark and Bob Sanders are and doesn't know who Ty Warren, Leigh Bodden, Kevin Faulk, Nick Kaczur, Srephen Gostkowski, Stephen Neal, Brandon McGowan, etc. etc. are doesn't justify the media barrage about how the poor banged-up Colts are facing the powerful Patriots.

Let's hope Law Firm (B-J G-E) and Woody (Danny Woodhead) tear them up on the ground. Yeah, we will use our Firm Woody backfield.

Here is a thought, let's all make excuses for the Colts, prior to Sunday's beatdown. I'll start:

1. Wull...Wull...all of our players are hurted and couldn't pway.
2. Da Patwiots cheated and took thermal scans of Manning's brain to recognize what audible he was going to call pre-snap, based on mood change.

Nobody has owned the Patriots, so get it straight. Winning in consistantly slim fashion is not owning. It's a great rivalry, and most games come down to the wire. Just not this game, get ready for an ass-whoopin Colt-Clones.

To the 2 Colts fans: How about the Colts turning up the heat and the artificial sound in the AFC championship game. How about the phantom PI calls in that game. One offensive taking away a possible 28-3 halftime lead, and one in the end zone when the Colts needed it most. How about how Polian has ruined the league by making it impossible to play defense? I know that there was no luck involved when Jets beat Pats in week #2.

And there was no luck involved when the Browns absolutely pounded the Pats in week #9.

But what will be cool is if/when Pats beat the Colts this week when they host the Jets the Pats will be 5-0 at home and Jets 5-0 on the road, good stuff.

With some of the Colts best offenses to date, they were only able to beat the Pats by double digits one time, and this isn't even close to being a top flight Indy offense. Yeah, Pats lost to Cleveland, but Indy's D is a decent step down from Clevelands, and the Browns run the ball much better than Indy. Look for this one to go down 31-20, Patriots.

Indy and Manning have owned BB and the Patriots for awhile now, that's a fact. I think rather then not talk about stats the Patriots should concentrate on getting some heat on Manning so he makes a mistake or two.

Manning is inside BBs head and the only way out is for NE to win one. This whole bad slide started in the AFC championship game when NE had an 18 point lead at the half and lost. Things really haven't been right since. For my money that loss was way worse then the loss to the Giants in the SB. And that's because NE had such a big lead and blew it. If I recall correctly in the Indy game during the second half most of the big offensive plays were right up the middle, which was totally humiliating for the Pats defense and BB.

I think Sundays game is a coin toss at best because even as wounded as the Colts are they still can light it up.

PFT: So stats aren’t necessarily for losers. As long as the stats in question correlate to the Patriots becoming winners.

I believe what Bill is saying is that what's important is the final score. We have all seen game where the "stats" do not correlate with the winner. A year ago, when asked about stats, it was in regard to personel stats (Moss) not team stats. There is a hierachy - but top of it all relates to who wins. "We play to win the game" not put up numbers.

I love how all the Pats haters refresh PFT every 5 minutes in hopes for a Belichick story so they can post something about videotaping signals. LOL - The obsession with all things New England Patriots is hilarious.

I guess if my team got destroyed by another for years I'd be bitter too, but not that bitter. But hey, maybe Big Ben wouldn't have 2 rings if his thirst for rape wasn't getting quenched each week...haha...

ptcraddock - I love how the Pats still haunt your dreams to the point where you take the time out of your day to post a negative statement which was proven to be untrue...including a retracted article and apology by the Boston Herald.

Change your signals bro! HAHAHA...every team changes them...week to week, too bad your team was too dumb to switch it up, and thus got whooped by the Patriots.

BTW - Don't think defensive signals blocked field goals, returned punts for TD's, caused Manning and Big Ben to throw picks, caused McNabb to puke on himself, made 45 yard field goals in a blizzard, etc, etc, etc...sorry...you and your team are LOSERS!
