Addai, Collie return to practice

J. Addai2

No matter how much Pierre Garcon is struggling, injuries have been the biggest issue slowing down the Colts offense.

On Thursday, they got some much-needed good news in that department.  Running back Joseph Addai return for a limited practice, and could be a gametime decision with his shoulder injury, according to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com.  Addai hasn’t played in a month.  Wide receivers Austin Collie, Reggie Wayne, and Blair White were upgraded to a full practice and cornerback Kelvin Hayden was limited.

Collie was limited on Wednesday and there was doubt locally whether he would be available.  Collie was out last week because of a concussion.  His return would help a thinned-out receiver group against a vulnerable Patriots secondary.

Ain’t gonna matter as they won’t be playing in their nice comfy warm dome come Sunday evening.

Once that sun goes down Manning’s gonna be too cold to play.

I never root for a player to get hurt. But I sure do like them to take their time coming back. Ya know to be sure they have sufficiently healed so as to not threaten their well being and their careers.

Austin, if you can hear me, a concussion is a nasty and dangerous thing. No one, especially me, will think any less of you if take an extra week off to fully recover….

Joseph, it get colds in Foxborough. It’s no place to be with a hurt shoulder…think about it!
