Cable’s right though. They are equipped to play that way against the Steelers.

Their best chance is to take advantage of that Steeler swiss cheese offensive line and try to force some mistakes. They keep pounding the ball and hopefully get a couple down-field passes to win a relatively low scoring game.

The way the Patriots beat the Steelers was to spread the field and throw 50 times. Tom Brady can do that to the Steelers. (One game could be a fluke. Every game of your career is not.) How many quarterbacks can throw 50 passes and not make any mistakes. I’ll spot ya Brady and P. Manning and I’ll take my chances against anybody else trying it. Other teams will have to find their own blueprint to win.

The Steelers will defend the Raiders differently than they do the Patriots. If they stop the run against Oakland, they should be fine. Belichick/Brady don’t just spread Pittsburgh. They throw all of the time on them and it’s both long and short. While the Patriots usually beat Pittsburgh, I have never seen Pittsburgh with such a lame pass rush.

it’ll be interesting because Polamalu is banged up, Ward is out, and Suisham will be the new kicker now that Reed is gone. …revenge will be heavy on their minds and they remember their late season slide…Campbell is in for the test of his career. He got lit up when he was with DC v. the Steelers….

See if the Raiders can get it done…unconcerned with KC on the road and not San Diego, either (Aso will be back for that game)

We ALL know Campbell isn’t Tom Brady, maybe we can move on from that, maybe.

Campbells indecision when about to throw is what bothers me. Cable keeps telling him to let it loose, and he’s been a little better at it lately, we’ll see.

The Raiders love to go deep out of heavy sets, off playaction.

As good as McFadden is, I’d like to see more of Bush this Sunday.

Line it up and hammer it in there, we’ll see how good the Steelers are against the run, when they have to leave their safety’s deep.

So you’re saying that KC and SD are quality teams when they are playing at home? Because we beat both of them in Oakland, and we’ll do it again any time, any place! Oh, and Grads is healthy, didn’t he beat Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh last year? I’m guessing he’ll get some playing time in the 2nd half.

One reason it may be tougher for the Raiders to spread out the Steelers is that they are short at wide receiver.
