Texans linebacker Diles will miss game after heart palpitations

Houston’s shaky defense will be without one of their more consistent players on Sunday.

Linebacker Zac Diles, who is second on the team in tackles, did not make the trip to New York with the rest of his team.  John McClain of the Houston Chronicle notes that Diles was diagnosed with dizziness and heart palpitations after being sent to the hospital this week.

The situation is reportedly “under control” and Diles is expected to play next week against the Titans.  Rookie Darryl Sharpton is expected to replace Diles in the starting lineup.

This is shaping up to be an all out smackdown by the Jets. With a gimpy Texans QB, Rex might run out of blitz packages to run.

CT Pats Fan, since all signs point to the Jets drubbing Houston, I am sad that I have no $ to bet on Houston. Just watch…they’ll end up covering, or winning outright.
