The Miami Dolphins have lost one center and signed another.
The team announced today that center Cory Procter has been placed on injured reserve. Procter suffered a knee injury in Thursday night’s game against the Bears.
To take Procter’s place on the roster, the Dolphins signed veteran center Eric Ghiaciuc, who started 42 games for the Bengals from 2005 to 2008 and played briefly for the Chargers in 2009.
Procter was in at center on Thursday night in place of Joe Berger, who was injured the week before against the Titans.
