APThe Bucs’ youth movement only continues to get younger.
The team released veteran defensive tackle Ryan Sims on Tuesday; he started 16 games for them in 2009.
Rookie Al Woods’ play is one reason why Sims was cut. Tampa has been starting 6-7 rookies this year on their way to a 7-3 record. Woods was signed off Pittsburgh’s practice squad.

It certainly helps that Ryan Sims sucks a lot.
They are already the youngest team in the NFL. If they get any younger they will be playing college freshmen. And why not? They pay them at Auburn.
If they can keep the core of the team together, they should be one of the dominant teams in the league in a few years.
And who was signed to replace him? I’m hoping they bring in another DE… Sims was terrible anyways and this is long overdue.. of course Sims had to get healthy enough to cut.
