Define “Playing somewhere” Clayton didn’t do much playing. He dropped a lot of passes though.

They are better off just throwing to no one if all of the reserve receivers go down. The ghost receiver will probably catch more balls than Mike too .

Last I heard, Curtis was favoring Detroit because he thinks he’ll stick there. Anyone coming in for the Giants knows they are gone as soon as Smith and Nicks heal. Makes sense for him to stay in Detroit if he can make the team for this year and maybe next.

They already brought in Curtis. He’s another option for them. Jerry Reese does his homework.

Why not use the 150k towards a contract for Kevin Curtis? At least Curtis is pretty much guaranteed to show up. Unless Clayton is just leverage.

To all the Tampa fans – It’s not like they were pursuing him in the offseason. They have most of their WRs either hurt for weeks or on IR. They need a body to have on the bench because, right now, if another WR goes down they don’t have one to replace him with. Are Giants fans thrilled by this? Hell no! But what else can the team do but try to find a healthy castoff who has SOME experience. Ten games down, not like there’s a HOF quality WR waiting by the phone for NY to call. If he’s all that’s left, then that’s who they have to try to sign.
