Patrick Crayton has a dislocated wrist

Malcom Floyd returned at wide receiver for the Chargers Monday night, just in time for San Diego to lose another receiver.

Patrick Crayton has a disclocated wrist, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.  He’ll undergo an MRI on Tuesday to determine whether he can play again this year.

With Legedu Naanee hurt for much of the year and Vincent Jackson yet to play a game, Crayton turned out to be a key pickup for the Chargers.  They acquired him for a seventh-round pick from Dallas and he’s responded with 514 yards and a 18.4 yards-per-catch average.

Jackson will make his season debut Sunday night against the Colts; Antonio Gates’ status is uncertain.

My son plays at Yale and had that injury last year. 3 surgeries and five pins later, it was a medical redshirt year. Urlacher had the same thing….

Saw the play last night and said, “I’ll bet he dislocated his wrist.”

Sucks that he got hurt but if there’s one thing about Crayton it’s that dude is always lackadaisical with the ball. He runs tall (and slow) and always tries to absorb big hits for some reason.
