Payton feels “pretty good” about Bush playing on Thanksgiving

The much-anticipated return of Reggie Bush to the Saints lineup may finally happen Thursday.

Coach Sean Payton says he feels “pretty good” about Bush’s availability for the Cowboys game.

“He’s moving around and he continues to get better,” Payton said after practice Thursday via Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Pierre Thomas looks far less likely to return from his ankle injury.

“He wasn’t at practice,” Payton said.  “We’ll just continue to monitor where he’s at. But he didn’t take any team reps.”

It would be nice to see Bush back for the Dallas game because they will continue to ply hard for their “new” coach and the Saints must win to keep on track to win the South. Bush is a very important part of the team and the Saints are primed to make a very strong run into the playoffs with multiple players coming back from injury. If the offense can come along the Saints should be fine, assuming a win at Atlanta.

The big story this year is the Saints Defense:

4th in Scoring Defense (just ahead of the Jets)
4th in Yards Per Game (just ahead of the Steelers)
    2nd in Passing Defense

If the Offense can get Bush back and get back in the groove, watch out for a possible REPEAT.

Good, then he can also be part of the severe beat down the saints will receive.

I’m still laughing about how happy Seahawks fans were when they found out Bush wasn’t going to play on Sunday.

Ahhh, Pervy. I see you’re still trolling Saints posts trying to make believe that the Vikes aren’t imploding. If it makes you feel better, go ahead. Even you need something to keep you warm at night, and we all know it’s not playoff dreams. Here in New Orleans, we can’t wait for January.
