APThough it’s entirely possible that the Saints will score again by the time we post this, the Cowboys have completed the climb out of a 17-0 hole, taking a 27-23 lead late in Thursday’s game between the two NFC foes.
After eschewing a 53-yard field goal try that would have tied the game, opting instead for a busted-play drop-kick-style punt from Mat McBriar that was followed by a tipped ball interception of Drew Brees, the Cowboys drove down the field in seven plays. Tashard Choice capped the effort with his first touchdown of the season, a one-yard touchdown plunge.
Less than six minutes remain.
UPDATE: The Saints didn’t score. And the Cowboys have the ball back. With 4:10 to play.

Very impressive game …… I know the Saints aren’t playing up to last year’s level, but they’re still the Saints. Jason Garrett has got this team FIRED UP and playing balls-out. All you Cowboys fans who said after Phillips got canned that Garrett was a poor choice to replace him, THINK AGAIN!
update: then Roy Williams coughed the ball up to the good M Jenkins and Terrance Newman got beat deep for the 1,000 time this year
update: Then the bad M Jenkins got beat down the middle by Lance Moore for a touchdown
Good forecasting mush!
