Though it’s entirely possible that the Saints will score again by the time we post this, the Cowboys have completed the climb out of a 17-0 hole, taking a 27-23 lead late in Thursday’s game between the two NFC foes.

After eschewing a 53-yard field goal try that would have tied the game, opting instead for a busted-play drop-kick-style punt from Mat McBriar that was followed by a tipped ball interception of Drew Brees, the Cowboys drove down the field in seven plays. Tashard Choice capped the effort with his first touchdown of the season, a one-yard touchdown plunge.

Less than six minutes remain.

UPDATE: The Saints didn’t score. And the Cowboys have the ball back. With 4:10 to play.
