Brandon Marshall unlikely to face Raiders

Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall missed his third straight practice Friday and looks very unlikely to face the Raiders this Sunday.  Coach Tony Sparano said he hasn’t decided yet whether Marshall will even make the trip.

Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel writes Marshall will be classified as doubtful or out when the injury report is released later today.

The Dolphins won’t announce their starting quarterback, but it’s looking like Chad Henne could be back for the team.

  1. There’s a rumor going around that Hue Jackson got his way and Bruce is getting the start.

    I sure hope it’s true.

  2. @joetoronto

I heard that rumor. Wish it was true. Doubt it though. The real Coach Davis wants Campbell to start.

Another reason I dont think its true. While Jackson also prefers Bruce to start. He isnt pushing hard to Al like before to start him. Cable is the one pushing it.

I guess we will see Sunday who got their way. Campbell better bring ear plugs if he plays like he did vs Pitt.

  3. Marshall is such a head case (like so many WR’s). Great personnel move Miami. Has Brandon even played this year?

  4. I wonder if the teams in the NFL get charged for that extra bag of crap that they have to take with them on the plane, even though it won’t be used…
