Lot of big names questionable for Chargers-Colts

The Chargers are getting healthier, while the Colts remain very banged up heading into their Sunday night showdown.

The Chargers listed seven players as questionable, including Antonio Gates and wide receivers Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee.

While the wideouts look likely to play, Gates didn’t practice Friday after testing his foot on Thursday.  That’s not a good sign.   Running back Ryan Mathews is doubtful to play.

For the Colts, seven players are questionable, while wide receiver Austin Collie and safety Bob Sanders are out.  Joseph Addai is doubtful.  Running back Mike Hart is questionable, but didn’t practice Friday.  Reggie Wayne returned to practice Friday and should play.  Linebackers Clint Session and Gary Brackett didn’t practice all week.

Add it all up, and the Colts are in worse shape than the Chargers heading into the big game.

The Colts have been in worse shape than the Chargers since Manning broke Dan Marino’s record against them in 2004 – since then the Colts are 1-4 (0-2 playoffs) against the Chargers.

Ya, and the Colts have won a Super Bowl since then and the Chargers have NEVER won one.

    That’s all that matters, folks.

Stats are for losers, like Charger fans.
