The Giants confirmed on Friday just how short-handed they will be up front against the Jaguars this weekend.

Left tackle Diehl and center Shaun O’Hara remain out, along with wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith. Tackle Shawn Andrews remains in the hospital because of back injuries and is doubtful to play.

Plenty of teams have injury issues at this point of the season, but the Giants have been hit especially hard because their problems have all come at the same positions. Wide receivers Ramses Barden, Victor Cruz, and Sinorice Moss are already out for the season.

Jacksonville’s pass rush has been better in recent weeks and should have a chance to get after Eli Manning with New York’s offensive line so banged up.
