Great way to let her know who is in charge, idiot.
I hope your first Sunday back on the field an opposing player sets you straight and does the same thing to you. I can’t stand a man who puts his hands on a woman.

Classy…..And in the end, she will decide not to press charges, although she was drug down the street by her freakin hair, she will come to realize that he makes alot of coin, and her self worth can’t shop for the finer things in life……Guaranteed.

Now, I find this ironic since Smith, his wife, and their two kids gave a videotaped “Happy Thanksgiving to all” message during the game on Thursday. Not such a happy family anymore.

Same player that appeared in a Thanksgiving greeting with his family drags his wife down the street the next night? I bet Fox wished they would have chose a different player now for their video greeting.

  23. millenheir says: Nov 27, 2010 3:26 PM

Replay will show that the officials likely got this one wrong.. Smith didn’t pull the hair, it was actually just a Horsecollar

I’m not surprised at all at this transgression. He never treated Carlton very well either.

It’s extremely rare for a member of the Saints to be in trouble with the law. Having said that, I am extremely disappointed. The NFL in general hasn’t done much to tackle the issue of domestic violence, which is far more rampant in football than in other sports.

  26. pigpenrapeswomen says: Nov 27, 2010 3:39 PM

Btw, teamfema you are an idiot. The incident took place in Lafayette. Illiterate clown.

Arrested, domestic abuse and pulling wife by the hair! Oh wait he is a Saint, not a Steeler who had no charges or arreest.. He can play rest of season.

  30. goldsteel says: Nov 27, 2010 4:27 PM

Be sure to fine him Mr. Goodell. That will straighten everything out.

    Fire Goodell.

Spare me from your crying. The Steelers get more breaks and preferential treatment than any other franchise in football.

  33. tiproast says: Nov 27, 2010 6:06 PM

What’s really sad is that Florio, most of the fans, and the league itself will pay more attention to Spygate II than this.

  34. pondbridge says: Nov 28, 2010 7:50 AM

One game suspension. Minimum. The NFL’s record on spousal abuse stinks. Stand up for what’s right Goodell.
