LMAO! You haters can try and come off as self righteous all you want. Buy lets be totally honest, you are nothing more than biased and tainted based on your full blown jealousy.Try and mask that in any way, shape or form, but it is what it is.

Lets revisit spyagte, since you all love pointing fingers...The "Tape" that cost the pats a first rounder was confiscated in game one! and never used! Blown in by a Team (the Jesters) that was pissed cause their Video taper was kicked out of Gillette stadium the game before, but not because he was filming, but because he was in the endzone.

Yes, we have VIDEO of the jets video guy taking video of the Pats, it was on national TV, but no-one cared cause the Jets sucked. You all care cause you are Patriots Bittches and they smack down your favorite team more times than not.

The walsh idiot could never provide the tape he said he had.

Do me a favor and look up the Pats record post Spygate. I know, the Patriots are still cheating right? You are either naive or cant see through your own blind hatred...TOO BAD FOR YOU! WE OWN YOU..... LOL Keep up your self righteous BS, we can see right through it and we suffer no guilt...post spygate we win 80% of our games. 3 SB wins Baby!

Josh didnt view the tape, Bill clinton didnt inhale.

This must be a hard pill for you Patriot fans to swallow.

Until now we didn’t know for sure just how bad the Patriots were cheating.

This is real bad, Patriots fans.

One word: Tarnished

One missing word from now on: Dynasty

The only question I have is why did Goodell destroy the evidence? What if a new commissioner needs to see it at a later date? Why Roger Why?

------------------------------------------------

lol You are truly an idiot dude.

"Until now, we didn't know for sure how bad the Patriots were cheating"??

Umm...yes they did. That is why they lost a first round draft choice.

This is not anything new dude - and though moron haters like you will look for any straw to grasp....it is a mute point.

The reason...you moron...that Goodell destroyed the evidence, was to kill this story after the Pats were punished. They did so because it was known that this was a common practice throughout the league up until that year, and a memo was sent out to all teams to stop doing it during the off-season - Goodell wanted to put the whole thing to bed. The Pats kept doing it (for one game!) and were punished very harshly for it with a first round pick.

But keep the moronic hating posts going though dude.....they are good satisfying fun for us Pats fans to laugh at while they march to another Championship.

The jealousy of anti-Patriot fans is hilarious. The Pats have sustained success year after year, with different players, different coordinators, and different position coaches. It's not because of some stupid camera, it's because the players on the field execute their job as a team.
The Patriot haters sound like a bunch of whiny little children making excuses for all the reasons why the Patriots continue to win.
Face it, the Patriots are a well oiled machine and any time a part of that machine stops working...(ie Moss), then the Pats discard it, and go to the junkyard and get a replacement (ie Branch).
I'm actually hoping the Patriots win the SB this year, so it will shut the rest of you whiny ass punks up.

Since all this crap began, not one bitter, jealous moron has been able to explain to me how video taping something in plain sight is cheating. Maybe because it isn't.

But I'll tell you what is:

Admittedly knowing the defensive play calls before the snap (Peyton Manning)

Enhancing crowd noise. (Indianapolis)

Treating the salary cap like your redheaded stepchild. (Denver)

Observing the Chargers practice the week before you play them from atop a grassy hill. (Denver)

Admittedly recording and trying to decifer Tom Brady's audibles from game recordings. (Dolphins)

Being thrown out of the stadium for videotaping the opponents sideline (Jets 2006)

I'm sure if Florio ever worked up the cahones to ask him, Dungy could tell us about a few more tricks he had up his sleeve too.

Point is, all you haters only hate greatness, only hate what you don't have and can't admit to yourselves that even though the Pats may have videotaped, your team did the same or maybe worse, and still got their asses handed to them. Chew on that for a bit.

Yea...you got it...a Broncos story immediately proves a million things about a team 2,500 miles away...exactly. So if your loser Packers with their overrated, never won anything QB happens to have a former assistant do something bad...that immediately proves that the Packers were also doing all of those same things...

I got it...thanks for your wisdom...geek

nflwatcher says:
The 2007 Patriots were penalized in game 1 against the Jets for violating a new rule adopted after the 2006 season. Whatever filming occured prior was not violating any NFL rules. The idea that Super Bowl wins are tainted is moronic.

bradysbitch says:
What Belichick did was tape defensive signals from an illegal area, the sidelines. Teams are permitted to tape signals from other areas, not the sidelines. NE was not doing something in secret. Of course they practiced it. It wan’t that big of a deal. They did it in front of 60,000 people every week, Herm Edwards even waved at the camera.

What Scarnecchia did in Denver is completely different. He taped something that is supposed to be private. Defensive signals are not private. They are out in the open. Practices are not. IMO this is a whole different ballgame.
-------------------------------------------------

Two EXCELLENT posts that not one single Patriots hater is ever going to understand. Ever. The truth gets in the way of their hatred of this phenonminal franchise.

By the way, this Denver incident should put to rest once and for all that filming a team's signals or walk-throughs gives you a clear advantage........ for God's sakes, the Bronco's did it agants the FORTY NINERS, and STILL LOST!!!!!

Tainted Super Bowls, my a$$.

Any moron who thinks the Patriots are still breaking the rules - after paying $750,000 in fines and losing a first round pick - is a complete idiot. And any moron who says "they haven't won a Super Bowl since Spygate" is a BIGGER idiot who dosn't understand that the Patriots lost multiple Super Bowls BEFORE "Spygate", and that their record AFTER "Spygate", when they're being watched under a microsope by everybody in the game, is very close to what is was BEFORE.

Pity the haters; they're too stupid to understand the truth, and are driven by pure jealousy that their teams suck compared to New England.

And any moron who says “they haven’t won a Super Bowl since Spygate” is a BIGGER idiot who dosn’t understand that the Patriots lost multiple Super Bowls BEFORE “Spygate”, and that their record AFTER “Spygate”, when they’re being watched under a microsope by everybody in the game, is very close to what is was BEFORE.

Pity the haters; they’re too stupid to understand the truth, and are driven by pure jealousy that their teams suck compared to New England.

What Belichick did was tape defensive signals from an illegal area, the sidelines. Teams are permitted to tape signals from other areas, not the sidelines. NE was not doing something in secret. Of course they practiced it. It wan't that big of a deal.

Which leads back to a very serious issue; Rodger Goodell. It seems to me that what Denver did is much more serious than what NE did. So why did Denver only get 100K in fines instead of 3/4 million? What about the draft pick? Goodell is a jackass who just makes up rules as he goes along. It like playing roulette with this guy. He spins the wheel to determine the fine. The inconsistency with him is just ridiculous. He is really a problem.

Don't forget that Scarnecchia worked for Mangina and the jets too........

Scouting an opponent, you twit. If you can figure out the tenancies of the defensive coordinator, you can figure out which plays to run that will blow the defense up.

Seriously, you guys act like teams never send advanced scouts to game, or watch video on opposing teams.
How exactly is it new news that the Patriots were taping defensive signals.
Belichick already admitted that he had a video guy taping during the games for years, and they got penalized for it.
The camera guy was in Patriots gear in view of 70,000 people, as were the defensive signals he was taping. And some coaches even waved to the camera.
Further, the J.E.T.S Jets and Mangini hired Scarnecchia from the Patriots to do the same thing as their video director, before spygate.
The Jets thought it would be a funny jab to rat out the Pats in game 1 in NJ a few years back.
Probably didn't realize it would be this big of a deal.
The only real news story is that McDaniels had claimed the Patriots didn't have a guy filming on the sidelines when in fact he did know.
McDaniels is done in Denver.

"Perhaps the Pats fans will do what they do best when confronted with the truth.
Hide."

[sarcasm]Yes, that's *exactly* what Patriots fans do.[/sarcasm]

Both a few years ago and right now, what I actually see around the various blogs and message boards are Patriots fans (as well as fans of other teams and even the honest "Patriot haters") presenting *facts* while the bashers just throw out words like "tainted" and "cheater" and not only never present any actual facts, but never respond to any that anybody else presents, either.

Facts such as that *more* than one NFL coach has stated over and over that what the Patriots did was common practice in the NFL. You've even had Jimmy Johnson say that he did it with his Super Bowl teams in Dallas.

Facts such as that every some "problem" can be found dominant team in history, such as the 49ers who played fast and loose with their rosters, or the Steelers who, heck, I can't even remember what they did anymore, but it was something.

And the fact is that it doesn't matter what the Steelers did, because it's without question that every NFL team does whatever they possibly can to win, whether you want to call it "cheating," "cheap," or anything else. Whatever the Steelers or anyone else did, it doesn't make them stand out from anybody else. I hate the Steelers and the Cowboys, but you know what, when they won, they won! If they did this or that, you can be assured that all of their opponents were doing the same thing or worse. That's the NFL. Heck, that's the NCAA, and even most high school football, at least in the big football states.

The degree to which people will ignore facts to hate on - not just the Patriots, but whatever team they'd like to - is amazing. Take as an example the post above:

"Until now we didn’t know for sure just how bad the Patriots were cheating.

This is real bad, Patriots fans."

Really? Are you serious? The fact that the Patriots camera operations were "coached and practiced" is news? Are you kidding me? This is nothing new. That was the *point* when it came out in 2007 - it was something the Patriots had systematically done for a while (and as I said, so had everyone else, but that's beside the point). The fact is that there *isn't* anything new here, but that doesn't stop bashers from trying to use it anyways, and so once again, they ignore the facts (in this case, that this is old news) and try to present it as something that helps their case.

I also love how when any Patriots fan makes a good argument for why spygate was and is a non-story…such as how Jimmy Johnson admitted he taped signals when the Cowboys won 2 Super Bowls, there is absolutely ZERO response or acknowledgment of the point…hilarious…the Haters are so blinded by their own team’s sucktitude that they can’t see the truth…

FOOTBALL PLAYERS WIN FOOTBALL GAMES ON SUNDAYS!!! Not cameras and certainly not signals that every one in the stadium can see…

Again…Pats record in the 4 years prior to “spygate” 57-16…Pats record in the 4 years since…48-15…LOLOLOL…Pretty similar to me…with a REBUILDING TEAM!!!!

Haha…leave it to the haters to blame the Patriots for the Broncos doing this. Love it. I love how everyone assumes that somehow a camera can make tackles, throw 45 yard passes on a line, make juke moves, catch in the cold, tip balls for interceptions, force fumbles…It’s amazing how one camera can just play the entire game of football for you.

All I know is even the GOD of the Haters Matty Walsh claimed the Patriots did NOT tape any Rams walkthrough…the guy who tried to bring the Pats down didn’t even say that was true and he was there that day…

Walkthroughs are different than siganls which change every week and are in plain view to 70,000 people in the stadium. Glad my Pats never did what the Broncos did…HAHA

This idiocy of attaching the non-suffix "-gate" to every pseudo-controversy needs to stop. Do you know the reason that Watergate was called Watergate?
