Mike Sims-Walker won’t face the Titans

M. Sims-Walker1

Entering Week 13, the four AFC South teams were separated only by one game in the standings. After Sunday, it could be a two team race with the Jaguars and Colts 7-5 two games ahead of the Texans and Titans.

For that to happen, the Colts need to right the ship against the Cowboys. And the Jaguars need to pull off a big division road win in Tennessee without one of their most talented offensive players.

Wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker won’t make the trip to Tennessee, according to team’s website. He’s been ruled out with his ankle injury, which is a bit of a surprise after he led the team in receiving last week. (Sims-Walker first suffered the injury a few weeks ago.)

David Garrard still has Mike Thomas and Marcedes Lewis to throw to, but the team’s depth at receiver (hello, Tiquan Underwood) has hurt the Jaguars offense this year.
