Updating her report that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan deactivated defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth because he was sick on Friday and didn’t take enough snaps in practice, Kelli Johnson of CSN Washington reports that Haynesworth also was one minute late to practice on Friday.

Coupled with reports that Haynesworth’s tardiness resulted in the deactivation, it appears that Haynesworth was deactivated in part because he showed up for work a minute late on Friday.

Of course, under the Tom Coughlin approach to reality, Haynesworth would have been six minutes late.
