Rams-Cardinals one-liners

The Rams’ 19-6 win Sunday snapped the franchise’s eight-game losing streak against the Cardinals.

St. Louis won despite one of QB Sam Bradford’s least inspiring performances of the season.

The upstart Rams look like a team that’s maturing at the right time.

Rams RB Steven Jackson enjoyed his first 100-yard rushing game since Week Seven.

Retired Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was in the broadcast booth for Sunday’s loss and “felt pity for his former teammates.”

Cardinals rookie QB John Skelton entered Sunday’s game having taken only eight practice reps with the first-team offense all season.

A blown blitz protection may have cut into Cardinals RB Beanie Wells’ playing time on Sunday; he finished with just three carries.

ESPN’s Mike Sando provides some silver linings for the Cardinals to take away from their seventh straight loss.

It wasn’t all bad for the Cards. While getting an early start on packing their belongings and cleaning out their lockers, several players found dimes, quarters, and even silver dollars in the lining of their clothes.

As I said last week “the Rams are going to the Super Bowl”.
