if you coach long enough you will eventually lose your team too. the key isn’t to fire a solid proven coach, but instead trade some players and bring in some young motivated guys, not set in their ways, old disgruntled players (insert #84′s name here). A change of scenery will suit Fisher well, can somebody say San Diego, Norv has worn out his welcome some time ago. Although it would be cool to see Ron Rivera get a shot at head coaching, his defense took the Rex Grossman led Bears to the Superbowl so imagine what he could do with an actual QB…Eddie is just speaking up for his (former) coach, nothing wrong with that at all

What rock have you been hiding under, Fisher has been consistently mediocre. He has six winning seasons in 16 full years of coaching the Titans. With a current winning percentage of .553 and a playoff winninfg percentage of .455. If this guy was the coach in a major market he would have been fired many times over.

I know everyone has their own personal opinion, but Fisher has not won JACK. In seventeen years as an NFL head coach, he has no more Superbowl rings than I…with no NFL head coaching experience.

Remember how happy everyone on the Titans was when they were able to claim Randy Moss off of waivers. They gushed that they had such a great locker room and that Moss wouldn’t be a problem.

Moss never mentally checked in with the titans and now the rest of the team has mentally checked out. It’s not just Vince Young. This team hasn’t won a single game with Moss on the roster. The difference in the team before he was claimed and after he was claimed is night and day.

how many winning seasons in how many years of coaching? i know you want consistency and continuity in your coaching staff, but this kind? i’m a steeler fan so one less team to worry about in the AFC is just fine with me.

I realy hope both fisher and fox get fired after the season. I can’t wait to read your column about what rash and horrible decsion it was for the teams that hire them shortly there after. and despite what you think they will not be out of jobs very long.

Parcells is not qualified to coach anymore – his style has become outdated and it’s showing in the mediocrity of the Dolphins. As for lack of energy in the Titans’ play, defensively I don’t agree, but offensively I thought the Titans got deflated after the two passes to Moss that clipped the ground before being caught in the second quarter.
