Just a small look into a window of your hero thinks is good recreational behavior when not on the football field Vick supporters:

"As that dog lay on the ground, fighting for air, Quanis Phillips grabbed its front legs and Michael Vick grabbed its back legs. You can go back & try & spin what you said anyway you'd like. The words speak for themselves. You wrote them.

You want to remain uneducated on this evil individuals acts beacuse you are a football fan & a Mike Vick fan, you want to believe in him because he plays in the organization your husband works for, you want to remain ignorant on extent of his ghoulish behavior because he gave you a warm smile at a Christmas party.

You. by your own admission, * If I fall into the category of “you know what, I don’t care what Vick did, I like football” then so be it. *. You not only don't know- but don't care.

AS YOU say- *If I choose to remain “ignorant” (which seems to be the popular word on here today) then I will, because in this case ignorance is bliss to me. I am a huge fan of Michael Vick*

I cannot believe you are really trying to defend this - you said it & the context is clear. Just admit you are only defending Vick because he producing wins for your husbands organization & superficial interaction at a event. That's all you know & you look more like a fraud with each post, you have a vested interest in Vick succeeding, conflict of interest. That's why you choose to be so ill-equipped to speak intelligently about Vick.

The things you say are so reeking of ignorance it's scary that you shout down others on things you are so hopelessly uneducated about. Remind that husband of yours how lucky he is to get to talk to you on a regular basis.

Warm Smiles

Please go back and read the exact thing you quoted by me and see where it says "don't want to know the WHOLE truth." yea that would be the details I was referring to. I just can't keep arguing with a brick wall, it's completely unproductive and somewhat frustrating to say the least. And keep bringing up stuff in Vick's past. You are just further proving my point that you don't hate him for killing dogs, you hate him because he is more successful than you will ever be. And this is just the beginning. When Vick does something to land him in jail again, I will be the first to come back here and say, you know what you were right and I was stupid for believing he was a changed man. Until then, just stop talking.

"And now I’m truly done with this BS conversation."

Sure you are - Just beacuse you applaud the guy (and that is your right & I have never said it wasn't), doesn't give you the right to abuse others that don't.

AND

"You and breeshasabush can say what you want. I applaud the guy for the personal courage to simply, get back up."

What did he do?? Got Tony Dungy to be his mouthpiiece & got another NFL job?? If thats getting back up then why wouldn't he. Ya know what would really be getting back up though? A year or 2 in the UFL, show in a less than IDEAL situation you can stay out of trouble. Hell man he almost was back in trouble again in June - (watch this denial).

Assclown, idiot to name a few ways you have tried to shout down others to make them see your point. You call me pathetic & sad yet you call others immature names & quote the bible in the same paragraph to defend someone that will disappoint you again. If it means, it's pathetic to understand Mike Vick's measly 2 year sentence was nothing compared to what he deserved for his sick crimes then as said above to another blind Vick defender, that's a compliment.

By your own admission, why do you so blindly defend this guy? OK you feel he's sincere with his showing of remorse. The answer is no, I wouldn't be here defending Vick. However Vick has not been found guilty of spreading herpes. And that's my point. You can't find any evidence that says "Vick gave that woman herpes." And that's my argument, plain and simple. Unless Vick admits to it, or a judge finds him guilty of it, all we have are assumptions. You assume he's guilty and I assume he's innocent. However neither are fact.

Of course he will be remembered for all this, and that's the sad part of our society. People like you want to hold on to the negative so badly, and there's really no good reason for it. Live and be happy, let him live his life. You people are really pathetic and sad; 10 years from now you'll keep bringing this up and for what? What GOOD will that do? Nothing. I like second chances; I like the fact that people can make mistakes, or live a life of crime and find the error in their ways and bounce back. These are the people I fight for everyday. I'm a soldier; I love my country, my family. And I support the fact that people get knocked down in life, and have the true determination to get back up. To me, that's the true meaning of someone's character, how they respond to adversity. Show me someone who's never had adversity in their life and I'll show you someone who hasn't earned their "stripes." You and breeshasabush can say what you want. I applaud the guy for the personal courage to simply, get back up. And now I’m truly done with this BS conversation.

Guarantee the Vick defenders will not answer this & if they do it will not be honestly because then their blind defense of Mike Vick dies.

And as for gamustangdude - you are saying a pathetic, pathological liar is acting like or publically showing remorse, and that is good enough for you - more naive behavior by you. By that measure, every violent criminal in the prisons across the US would act like or show remorse, would you believe every one of them too? Or is that blind faith once again just for Mike Vick.

I don't need to make anything up, you said you are ignorant on Vick & want to be. Only people that cannot think & have no basis for their argument call others names, so tell ya what honey, after I just proved above you admit to being ignorant on Vick & defending him because your husband works for the organization & a warm smile a year ago, being called an idiot is a compliment coming from someone like you.
Breeshasbush,

You can't say what Vick will or will not do this year. He is a completely different athlete than he was in Atlanta.

Snarkygurl,

As much as I love him and obviously see defend him, I can agree with the judge's decision on that one. After all, his actions did prove he doesn't value a dog. And yes, I do believe he has changed, but you know child molesters aren't allowed within 100 yards of a school. So it seems kinda fair to me.

And please, no hypocrite comments. I've said before I forgave him, doesn't mean I don't think what he did was effed up.

Well put!!! Hey im not for Stallworth (as I did root for him while he played for the Saints) either. His sentence was way too lite and i do look at him as someone who Neglegently Murdered some one, Ray Lewis, Leonard Little, and Ben Rapistberger are all in the same boat... im not on a high horse casting them out of humanity. I just think the NFL should be more responsible to its fans and most importantly the kids who worship them. As the players and coaces and all leage affiliates will tell you.."playing in the NFL is not a right, its a privledge" just ask Maurice Clarett, charles Rogers, Pacman Jones (well maybe not pac man i dont think he really gets anything) guys who have been banished from the league for a long period of time if not for good or just ask people like Peyton Manning, Brees, Mike Williams (seattle), Chad Pennington, who really worked hard day in and day out to be in the NFL while vick admittedly had very poor work ethic; its just a slap in the face to the guys who worked hard to have this guy just do whatever he wants, and thats pretty much my points. "Who are we to judge a man?" u r right no one is perfect therefore no one has the right to judge another person, but we as fans of the NFL have the right to criticize the public actions of both players and the league itself. Again i apologize for what I said... mama didnt raise me like that!

you're forgetting my knob creek that doesnt exist as well. You can measure all you want Mr. Insecure but I get to work from home, at my own pace, allowing me to screw around with you whenever I want, irritating you enough to google search a TV (and you're still wrong), so it looks like being educated has paid off for me pretty well. "Shows signs of" and "Acting" are different, but to you they are the same.

Showing signs of- basically meaning showing and feeling true remorse for what hes done.

Acting- conducting himself in such a way that people will believe he has true remorse when in all certainty he has absolutely no feeling about it at all.

Based on vicks past I have more facts to back up my opinion. All you have is his current public image created by his P.R. team. All you have is what any person in the American public and someone of his celebrity would say and do after getting out of prison.

I actually didn't catch where you "dissed" my daugher because I certainly would have said something about it. You can't say that his publicist is behind all of his actions just as much as I can't say that he isn't. We don't know that, and never will. What we do know is that he is an excellent QB who screwed up. He did his time, he appears to be remorseful, and he's doing the right things (whether on his own or on the suggestion of his publicist). And for us, his fans, it's enough. He can't take back what he did. He can only admit his faults, take the consequences, then do his best to redeem himself. Basically, everything he did and is doing. Saying he doesn't deserve what he has is false. From a professional standpoint, he has certainly proven that he deserves to be back in the NFL. From a moral standpoint, who are we to decide? Someone else mentioned how it's so clear that people are putting the lives of dogs above human life. I often say this myself, and this alone prove that people do not think he doesn't deserve to play in the NFL, but that he doesn't deserve success. This has been proven by the sudden rise in people speaking out against him as soon as he became successful. When donte stallworth catches a ball or perhaps scores a touchdown, are people yelling "human killer!" no, they're not. So why does Vick deserve all the dog killer comments? Oh duh, bc they're dogs, not humans. Silly me. As I said before, the past cannot be changed, and mike Vick has certainly made history in many ways, but I say we look to the present and concentrate on what he is doing now, all the good, and perhaps we can slowly begin to forgive him. I have. And if in the future, he screws up again, you won't see me on here rallying about everyone deserving a third chance. And when I say all the good he's done, I am referring to his actions outside of the field. But that's a whole new banter I'm not going to go on right now...

If you want we can get into a measuring contest, See what you do for a living and what I do I'm almost certain that I'll win.

But you're right I did google it, and neither on the Panasonic website nor Best Buy website I couldn't find the 52 inch panasonic LED TV, I saw sharp's and other brands but not a Panasonic. Just saying.

Back to Vick, It's irresponsible to you, ok thanks for your opinion, however the NFL and more importantly anyone that matters felt it was not irresponsible.

So keep crying over spilled Milk, while you sit on your white leather couch and watch your 52" Panasonic LED TV that doesn't exists. The Fact is Vick is in the NFL and you can't change that.

"Don’t know that, not in his head. However What I do know is that he’s showing signs of being remorseful now. And that’s the important piece, people like you and “themonkeyman” seems to lose grasp of. NOW he’s trying to atone for his mistakes. That I applaud."

if you're not in his head how do you know he is remorseful???? I think what you meant to say is you see him "ACTING" remorseful bc if you're not in his head how could you know if he cares or not? You see him saying and doing things so that he can keep his job and once again earn millions, you see his publicists doing what they have been mythodically taught to do: Keep his image squeaky clean from now on! You keep on contridicting yourself and you keep losing your credibility, so unless you have anything insightful to say....just stop

its not ab me wanting people to hate him (like ive said a million times). Its about not overlooking how many times this guy screwed up just bc he can play ball. He has a responsibility to Millions of Kids and fans and hes on a consistant basis ruined that opportunity. Hes basically saying to young athletes who idolize him "its ok to screw up 100 times just as long as you say sorry 101 times" and hes also saying "as long as you can play football extremely well you dont suffer the same way regular people do".... I think he is a very ill person, who refused a psychiatric evaluation (which is his right) after his release from prison, that shouldn't be given the privledge of playing in the NFL as it is not a right! Someone who does these things has serious psycological problems. For example: could you do what he did and get ammusment out of it? if you answered no (like i hope) it is because you do not have the imbalance that he does, it means you are more in touch with reality as a human being... Vick is not. As for what hes done since hes been out of prison, all pats on the back got to his publicist.. i mean u didnt really expect him to come out and say "i dont care about what ive done i did my time and thats it, no charity, no public service, im just going to play football and thats it" NO... then he wouldn't be able to come back and make millions and pay off his debt, he HAD to say and do those things... but mark my word someone as disturbed as he is WILL inevitibly screw up again bc hes is ILL.... sorry ab dissing ur daughter, that was out of line and i apologize

I actually minored in psycology At UNO and ab the TV do u wanna bet, or do u wanna tell us where you earned your degree in bestbuy appliances, go into any bestbuy store and you can prove urself wrong (is this what its really come to? u cant make a valid point so you try to google panasonic tv's.. look a little harder and you'll see how stupid u really are. if u want i can post the model number for you, jackass! I thought you were "truly done posting" oh and as for being picked ok by jocks, i was scrum half for my High School Rugby team and i didnt pick on anyone so sounds like someone has some issues with jock by bringing up his own bad past with them! Sorry about that, you just give me his name and ill give him a talking to.. feel better?

so back to Vick, if u have REALLY read anything i said about him you'd see that im not saying the guy cant live his life, he can go right ahead. Im saying its irresponsible to keep on giving this guy more chances and the financial means (playing in the NFL) to do what he pleases when he pleases (thus making him more likely to spiral out of control ONCE AGAIN). The judicial system wouldn't have been so easy on you because you work at wal-mart and cant run a 4.3 40 and throw a football 70 yards in the air, but ur right im sure hes a swell guy so lets let him do what he wants. Hopefully my expert diagnosis of him being a sociopath is correct and he decides to take you out dahmer style. Moron!

You missed the point. It was an anology. Christ, where do you people come from? Are you too stupid to understand that I know what Vick did. It was messed up and a horrible thing to do. I know what he did. So no, I do not remain "ignorant" to what he did. I again, said I do not care to hear the gory details. And there are people out there who choose to forgive cheaters and also choose not to know details. If you do not know the definition of details, then I can't help you, sorry. In the end, I'm still going to support Vick. I don't know why you sit on here trying to prove that he is such a horrible person anymore than I do trying to prove he's not. Mike Vick killed dogs, he ran a ring, he's a sick football player, people love him and believe he is sorry. GET OVER IT. No amount of arguing or blogging about his rescued dogs or photos are going to get Vick lovers like me to change their minds. So why are you wasting your time? I'm not trying to get you to like the guy, so why are you trying to get others to hate him?

after carefully choosing my reply to you: I would have society do to him what it does to everyone else. Fill out a job app to a place that will pay you next to nothing and check YES to "Have you ever been convicted to a felony?" And if he gets that job and stays out of trouble then KUDOS!!!! But giving him the privledge of playing in the NFL isn't what he deserves.... he deserves to be treated like the convict that he is and he doesn't deserve any special treatment. Look up Cecil Collins, that POS never got a second chance nor will he ever in the NFL bc hes still in jail for 15 years (which is fair) but he will get out in 2012 for good behavior... so im guessing its ok to let this guy back on the field too bc hes paid his debt to society.... Before you retort PLEASE read about Cecil "the diesel" Collins and tell me if he deserves to be let back on the field when he gets out (if he wanted to). And if you say No (which you should) then you should also say no to vick as well (they should be held to the same standard)
