The Cowboys’ three wins over the last four weeks have featured key contributions from rookies other than Dez Bryant. With rookie defensive back Bryan McCann winning the NFC defensive player of the week for Week 11 and the NFC special-teams player of the week for Week 12, rookie Sean Lee has been named the NFC defensive player of the week award for his performance in Week 13 against the Colts.

Lee intercepted two Peyton Manning passes, returning one for a touchdown. The other one set up the game-winning field goal in overtime. They were Lee’s first two career interceptions.

Lee also added nine tackles, and he broke up two passes.
