Sunday’s crucial AFC West showdown between the Chargers and the Chiefs will be televised in San Diego.
The Chargers announced today that, although some club-level seats and tickets returned by the Chiefs are still available, the threshold to lift the local TV blackout has been met.
The game is a huge one for the Chargers: If they win, they’re only a game out of first place with three games to play. If they lose, they’re eliminated from AFC West contention.
This is the third straight Chargers home game to be shown on local television, after three of the first four home games were blacked out.
