Get ready to call in for the call-in show

Albert Haynesworth

FILE - In this Oct. 3, 2010, file photo, Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth sits on the bench alone before an NFL football game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia. New coach, new quarterback, new defense, big problem in Albert Haynesworth. The one-time star DL has completely disrupted a team that showed promise when the season started. He is now suspended for the rest of the season for “conduct detrimental to the team.” (AP Photo/Rob Carr, File)

Every Thursday, we open the PFT Daily phone lines up to PFT Planet. Though most calls involve not questions but statements including words unfit for mixed company, a few actually make it through the screeners.

And so then we make up an answer, or we talk long enough for the caller to forget what the question was.

We’ll do it all over again today, at 10:30 a.m. ET. 888-237-5269.

So don’t make us feel like we’ve been suspended without pay. We’re lonely. Call us.

But not too many calls, please. I’ve got real work to do, too. (To the extent that what we do can ever be called “real work.” Which, really, it can’t be.)
