Another Friday suspension: Duke Robinson gets four games

We’ve got another suspension to tell you about this Friday afternoon.

Panthers guard Duke Robinson was suspended four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, according to Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer.

Unlike Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes’ suspension, this one won’t hurt a team in a playoff race.  It won’t hurt the 1-11 Panthers at all — Robinson is on injured reserve and can serve the suspension now.

Guess the NFL tests teams in pairs.

Players need to stop taking things themselves. The team doctors will give you what you need and be within the rules.

Well except for Pittsburgh and Dr. HGH.

Over/under on how many posts in this discussion? The Spikes one has 45 and counting. I’m guessing about 8 or so. Like I said, everything is only an issue when the Patriots do it.

Funny it’s a Panther, too. Some Panthers were caught using steroids before SB38, yet we hardly hear a peep about it. All we hear is:

“Those durn Patricheets cheeted the Panthers out of the Super Bowl”.

By the way, where did the Patriots get those magical signals from, anyways? The Chris Weinke led 1-15 Panthers? Because that was the last time the two played before the Super Bowl. Funny how morons never mention that.

Same thing with the 2001 Steelers, too. The Patriots had not played them since 1996, and won that game by scoring two special teams touchdowns, yet Steelers hick fans feel they were robbed. It really is a joke.
